Introduction

Netgsm İletişim ve Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. is a firm that is established to render service through its own infrastructure so as to engage in business management in electronic communication services.

The founders of the firm are electronic and communication engineers that served in various posts in PTT and Turk Telecom in Turkey.

It initiated to render services upon granting authorizations such as Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) (www.btk.gov.tr), Fixed Telephone Services, (STH), Virtual Mobile Network Services (SMŞH), Internet Service Provider and Telecommunication Infrastructure Management (AIH).

Connection

Through signing interconnection contracts it established direct voice access connections with all leading communication managements in Turkey (Turkcell, Türk Telekom, Türk Telekom Mobile, Vodafone, TTNET, Superonline, Vodafone Alternatif, …).

First

It became the first company in Turkey to set up communication circuits with all GSM companies (Turkcell, Vodafone, Türk Telekom Mobil) to receive and send SMS. We are one of the companies participating in the 4.5G tender in Turkey.

It received the call origination contract by using Turkcell's base stations with its own SIM cards, and thanks to the permanent changes made under the control of the Information Technologies and Communications Authority, the contract began to be signed.

We started to serve with our MVNO infrastructure by establishing our core network.

Statistics

According to the quarter report of BTK for the 2023/4., it became the 3th operator to render fixed telephone service in Turkey in terms of the number of subscribers.

It sends around 2.300.000.000 SMSs per year to GSM firms with its 198.000 subscribers. Due to its receiving SMS from GSM firms thanks to its interactive SMS applications, Value-added SMS services were initiated to be rendered and the incoming number of SMS increases rapidly.

It renders services by developing itself the software and systems of Call Center, Invoicing, Subscriber Management Information System, and Campaign Engine Management System.

On corporate basis it ensures the telephone services of its many subscribers by downloading to central backbone network over onnet (IP).

Its customer portfolio widens with its IP telephone exchange product and virtual IP telephone exchange.

Thanks to its applications of Mobile Android and IOS soft phone, it has similar but more advantageous applications especially than Skype, Tango, whatsapp through its subscription number that may be called from Turkcell, Vodafone, Türk Telekom Mobile, Türk Telekom and other Fixed Telephone Services and may receive SMS.

Other

With the known fixed and GSM operators, we provide access over SS7 / IP Gateway Access Devices that we developed. In addition, it improves the infrastructure research and development project of New Generation Communication Systems, that is, Next Generation Network (NGN) at the value of 10 million USD under the Turkish Scientific and Technical Researches Institution’s support phase.

It started to render service after making a buy-sell agreement of xDSL with Turk Telekom. Under the scope of ISS authorization, it may give internet subscription regardless of the region across Turkey. Originally it started to conduct the data traffic with its specific links through the radio-links and it renders internet services to various buildings, building complexes and similar places.

We are the greatest competitor to the permanent operator in Touristic and military areas with the coin box developed by us including its electronics.

It integrates the communication services with its Security, smart home-workplace, access control and electronic assessment-evaluation mobile camera management information systems.
